🌿 EYFS Gardening Ideas (Continuous Provision & Enhancements)

These ideas are designed as open-ended invitations, supporting child-led exploration within continuous provision. Practitioners can adapt them responsively, following children’s interests, schemas and emerging lines of enquiry.

🌱 Outdoor Area Enhancements

  • Provide soil, seeds and child-sized tools for planting and digging

  • Set up a watering station with jugs, buckets and spray bottles
