A New Area of Little Owls Resources — Launching Early January 2026

Little Owls Resources is expanding.

Alongside our extensive printable provision, we are preparing to launch a new Curriculum & Pedagogy area designed to support confident, high-quality EYFS practice across Birth–5.

This section will bring together structured guidance, planning systems and professional resources — all rooted in real early years practice.


What Will This New Area Include?

The Curriculum & Pedagogy section will house a growing library of professional EYFS guidance, including:

  • Guidance pathways for Babies, Toddlers, Preschool, Reception & Mixed-Age Settings

  • Curriculum maps & planning frameworks

  • Age-Specific pedagogy guidance aligned with the EYFS statutory framework

  • Continuous provision and enhancements

  • Child-led & play-based approach

  • Intent, Implementation & Impact and OAP Cycle guidance

  • Assessment, SEND and inclusion built-in

  • Schema support documents

  • Parent Partnership & Transition resources

  • Leadership and inspection-readiness documents

  • EYFSP interpretation

  • Staff Training and Induction resources

  • EYFS Setting & Childminder Policies

  • An approach that is: Professional-Judgement-Led, SEND-Inclusive and supports Reduced Paperwork & Coherence Across Age Phases

These resources are designed to support professional judgement, not replace it — and to reduce workload by offering clarity, coherence and purpose.


Who Is This For?

This new area is designed for:

  • Early years practitioners working across Birth–5

  • Nursery and preschool settings

  • School-based EYFS teams

  • Childminders

  • Leaders and managers seeking inspection confidence

Whether you are refining existing practice or building a more coherent EYFS approach, this section is intended to support you professionally.


Introducing Professional Membership

Access to the Curriculum & Pedagogy suite will be available through a new Professional Membership.

Professional Membership will include:

  • Full access to the complete Curriculum & Pedagogy library

  • Ongoing access to all future Curriculum & Pedagogy releases

  • In addition to full access to all Premium printable resources

This is our most comprehensive membership, designed for settings and practitioners who want curriculum, pedagogy and provision brought together in one place.


Professional Members will have access to all of the following pathways:

🍼 Babies (0–18 months)

Responsive care, observation and development in the earliest years

🚼 Toddlers (18–36 months)

Development, play and progression in the toddler years

🎨 Preschool (3–4 years)

Curriculum, continuous provision and purposeful teaching

🎓 Reception (4–5 years)

Play-based pedagogy, progression and EYFSP readiness

🏡 Childminders (Birth–5)

Mixed-age pedagogy, planning without overload and inspection confidence


Some practitioners may use more than one pathway. Once inside a pathway, whole-setting guidance is also available such as curriculum maps, policies & schematic provision toolkits.


Founding Member Access (Launching Soon)

When Professional Membership launches in early January, it will open first as Founding Member access.

Founding Members will:

  • Join at a reduced introductory rate

  • Receive full access to all available documents

  • Automatically receive all future curriculum, pedagogy & provision releases at no additional cost

Each resource page will clearly show what is available now and when additional documents will be released, so expectations remain transparent.



Why We’re Sharing This Now

We wanted to share this update ahead of launch so that:

  • existing members understand what’s coming

  • practitioners can explore the structure and intent

  • visitors can see how Little Owls Resources is evolving

This new area reflects the conversations we’ve been having with practitioners over time — moving beyond activities alone to support pedagogy, curriculum and professional confidence.
