(This document will be available for download by: March 31st 2026)
What this document is
This document provides a set of carefully designed adult-led session planning templates for Preschool (3–4 years), aligned with current EYFS best practice.
The templates are intended to support short, focused, developmentally appropriate adult input that strengthens children’s learning through play, rather than replacing it. They reflect a clear understanding that adult-led teaching in EYFS is purposeful, responsive and integrated into continuous provision, not delivered as formal lessons.
This pack supports professional judgement and reflective planning. It does not prescribe lesson content or outcomes, and it does not replace the EYFS Statutory Framework or Development Matters.
