What this document is
This document is a practitioner and leadership-facing audit checklist designed to support reflective evaluation of Continuous Provision in Preschool (3–4 years) settings.
Rather than focusing on paperwork or resource quantity, it helps teams consider the quality, intent and impact of their provision — including adult interaction, inclusion, curriculum alignment and responsiveness to children’s interests.
It is a non-statutory reflective tool, intended to support professional discussion and improvement planning. It does not replace the EYFS Statutory Framework, Development Matters or inspection guidance.
