Transition periods can be exciting, emotional and sometimes challenging for young children, families and practitioners. Whether children are moving between Early Years settings, starting school, settling into Reception, or preparing for the transition into Year 1, thoughtful support can make a significant difference to children’s confidence, wellbeing and sense of security.
Our EYFS and KS1 Transition Resources have been carefully created to support smooth, child-centred transitions through play-based, developmentally appropriate practice.
