Fun scavenger hunt game for in or outdoors!
Fairy cards (Minibeast Fairy, Water Fairy, Tree Fairy, Fruit Fairy, Flower Fairy & Earth Fairy) are designed to be hidden for children to find.
You may like to simply encourage your children to search until they find all six fairies.
Alternatively (or after), for an additional challenge, you may like to draw children’s attention to the colours, shapes and numbers on each card. Why not challenge your children to find the card with a specific shape on it? We have also included sets of cards with the relevant numbers, shapes and colours on within the pack, in order that you may select a card to give you a particular child or they may self select a challenge for themselves. These cards are ideal for children who require picture aids for non-verbal communication.
The cards also allow plenty of opportunity for communication and language development and observation skills looking at the key similarities and differences between each fairy.

Summer themed checklists (One with words, one without). Why not use in conjunction with a tuff tray or as the basis of a scavenger hunt? Use once with mark making tools such as pencils and encourage children to take it home as a stimulus for talk at home. Alternatively, perhaps you might like to laminate sheets and use them in conjunction with whiteboard pens for multiple uses.

Beach themed tally chart. Your children will love to use this as part of an out and about hunt activity or in conjunction with a 'Beach/Summer' themed tuff spot or feely bag. Use as a Tally Chart or Check List. Differentiate expectations for individual children within your care. Some children may simply use it as a visual cue whilst others may begin to make marks resembling tally lines or even numbers.

Several activity sheets designed for use during or after a zoo trip. Sheets include: - ‘Zoo Checklist’ which features pictures of some typical zoo animals with space underneath each for children to tick the ones they have observed - ‘Zoo Tally’ sheet to enable children to begin to make marks which correspond to quantities of things (children may be encouraged to make any mark in the appropriate box when they see the animal/object, this will develop to tally lines and older children may even count up the tally and write the corresponding number) - ‘What can you see on your zoo trip?’ differentiated writing/drawing/mark making sheets with lots of versions to choose from.
