Memory game using numbers in hearts. Each child has their own board of a particular colour. Children to take turns turning over cards to try to find the correct numbers in the correct colour to win the game. Two versions of the game - 1-5 and 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Ideas
Even number of children to have a card each and then try to find the person holding the card that rhymes with theirs.
or
Split pack in to two piles with the rhyming pairs split between the two piles. Each child to have a card each from one of the piles. Adult to take cards one by one from the second pile and read it out. Children to recognise if they have the rhyming card to match the adult.
