PLAYDOUGH/LOOSE PARTS/ART & CRAFTS/PENCIL
Once laminated this ‘Design Your Own Maracas Multimat’ is ideal to be used as a reusable playdough or loose parts mat. Alternatively, use in conjunction with whiteboard pens. Without lamination the sheet could also be used with mark making tools or art and craft cut and stick materials.

Cut out (and laminate if desired) the Cinco de Mayo pictures beforehand. Choose to use either the maracas (numbers) or the sombrero (counting dots). *1-6 dice required
• Roll dice and take the piece with the corresponding number.

About ‘Cinco de Mayo’
Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "Fifth of May") is a holiday that celebrates the Mexican victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. On this date, the Mexican army, led by General Ignacio Zaragoza, defeated a much larger and better-equipped French force near the city of Puebla.
In Mexico it is mostly observed in the state of Puebla, with parades, reenactments, and cultural events. In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has become a widely celebrated cultural holiday, especially in areas with large Mexican-American communities. It’s about celebrating Mexican culture, heritage, food, music, and pride. Celebrations include mariachi bands, tacos, folklórico dancing, and colourful festivals.
