SYMMETRY POSTERS
Pack comprises two posters, both of which show basic lines of symmetry for children to begin to build a picture in their minds of what symmetry is. One poster shows shapes with a line of symmetry marked on and the other shows everyday ‘real world’ items with a line of symmetry.

2D SHAPE DESCRIPTION MATCHING CARDS AND STATEMENTS
Shape descriptions to be matched with images of the shapes. Could be played as an adult led game…For example, adult to chose the appropriate shape cards and corresponding descriptions which are at the right level for children. Bag to be filled with selected descriptions and then matching cards laid out on floor. Adult or child to select description from feely bag and adult to read. Children to select the shape card which matches statement.
