MY SPACE ADVENTURE - BOOKLET
This booklet is intended as an extension to space themed role-play.
Either before or after space themed play children may enjoy mark making/drawing/writing about their experiences. Perhaps they may explore a really cold planet and draw what they think it looks like. What things might they really need on their trip to this planet? Perhaps they could experiment with some emergent writing to create a list of these things or labels?
At the top of each inner page there is a box for you or the children to write the day number. This will aid in the development of number recognition, formation and ordering.
The porthole images to the top right of the pages may simply be interpreted as decoration, however they could also be used as inspiration as to what you may be exploring that day!
