Banner ‘Who is here today?’ - change this in the editable docx file version to say whatever works best for your setting
Days of the week signs (Monday-Sunday)
‘Here’ & ‘At home’ signs (2 different sizes to suit your display board/area)
Name signs for all of your individual children to enable them to sign themselves in by moving their name from the ‘At home’ column to the ‘Here’ column. Faded images behind children’s names gives them an added way to recognise their particular name card allowing for greater independence.
This resource pack is easily adapted for any setting. For example the youngest children will get used to recognising their name & picture combination and moving it to the correct place with help. Children soon love the responsibility of doing this independently. Excellent tool for encouraging children to recognise their name before attending school and ideal for use in school to consolidate that knowledge and encourage independence.
