Keep the child’s communication available

Use these boards alongside speech, sounds, gestures, signs, objects and the child’s communication book or device. Keep their usual AAC accessible throughout play. There is no speech or readiness test to pass before using AAC. These illustrations and this layout still need to be considered for the individual child.
