Primarily for Reception and other learners receiving explicit phonics teaching. These are supplementary practice cards, not an SSP progression or a replacement for the setting’s matched decodable books. The three banks are choices, not levels to complete.

Please select only activities containing GPCs that have already been taught through your SSP programme.

Check every word, the particular sound represented, blending demands and any previously taught exception parts. All cards include the article a; most include is. These words must be checked too. Use pages 3–8 to select the supplied captions.
