'IN THE GARDEN' POEM SHEET (FREE SAMPLE)
This is a poetry writing frame to encourage use of descriptive words.
• Child to think of something they might see in a garden.
• Child (or scribing adult) to write the garden ‘something’ in the first rounded box and then think of three words to help describe the ‘something’ they thought of.
• There is no need for the words to rhyme.
• The green edged box is for an illustration.
Assist the child in performing their poem and enjoying the beauty of the language!
