Keep books, songs, puppets and sound-making materials part of everyday play. Retell a familiar story, invent a character or explore a rhythm together.
Choose materials for the children taking part. Consider mouthing, allergies, hygiene, access and supervision, and adapt experiences in line with your setting’s risk assessments.
