What’s included?
Three A4 landscape pages in colour. Join the first two pages to make one “Happy Diwali!” banner. The third page contains two matching patterned strips that you can print again to extend your display border.
A ready-made display heading
The two banner halves combine a Diwali greeting with illustrated festival imagery. Use the heading above a shared display, a story area or a collection of children’s work.
Borders to fit your space
The decorative strips repeat colourful rangoli-style motifs. Trim the strips and arrange as many as you need around the display. The download page offers PDF, Word and zipped JPEG versions.
Leave room for children’s contributions. The banner provides a heading; children’s pictures, questions and words can shape the rest of the display.
Build a display together
Use the display to revisit what children have noticed through stories, photographs and conversation. Invite personal experiences when children wish to share them, without assuming that everyone celebrates Diwali.
Print and assemble
Print both banner pages at the same scale in landscape orientation. Trim any joining margins as needed, line up the two halves and secure them from behind.
Frame your space
Print the border page as many times as you need. Cut out the strips and arrange them around your chosen space, leaving plenty of room for children’s work.
Add children’s ideas
Invite children to choose a picture, caption, question or remembered story moment to add. Revisit the display together as your conversations develop.
How many pages do I need to print?
The banner uses pages 1 and 2. Page 3 contains two border strips; print extra copies of that page if you need a longer border.
How should I print and join the banner?
Use A4 paper in landscape orientation and check print preview. Keep the same scale for both banner halves so they line up. If your printer adds white margins, trim the joining edges before attaching the halves together.
Is there a black-and-white version?
This pack contains colour designs. You can choose your printer’s greyscale setting, but a separate outline or colouring version is not included.
Which download format should I choose?
Choose the PDF for a ready-to-print copy, or use the Word or zipped JPEG versions to suit your workflow. Check the appearance and page layout before printing, especially when opening the Word file in different software.
