What this document is
This document is a 1-week Toddler Mini-Project Planner for children aged 18–36 months, focused on the theme Colours Everywhere.
It provides a practical, observation-led framework for planning a short burst of learning that centres on colour exploration through play—particularly colour mixing (cause and effect), sorting and matching, and rich opportunities for creative expression.
The experiences are designed to live within your continuous provision and daily routines, with optional adult focus moments that help you scaffold vocabulary, early maths and careful fine motor actions.
It is intended to support professional judgement and reflective practice and does not replace statutory EYFS guidance or Development Matters.
