As children progress, more ground may be covered such as ‘What colours have you used?’, ‘How many snow drop flowers are there in this picture?’, ‘Which is your favourite card?’, ‘Why do you like this picture the best?’, ‘Have you seen any of these signs of Winter?’, ‘Where?’, ‘When?’, ‘Who were you with?’, ‘Shall we go outside and see which of them we can find?’ If children take their pictures home, further consolidation of new vocabulary and Winter facts may arise through additional communication with those at home.
