International Children’s Book Day

Every day is a great day to enjoy children’s books and to further develop a love of reading in children, but it’s great to have a special day devoted to it!

International Children’s Book Day was first celebrated in 1967. It’s stated goal is to ‘inspire a love of reading and to call attention to children's books.’
