Fine Motor Hearts

Develop fine motor control using these heart designs. Children could use a pencil to make marks along the dotted lines and colour in each of the sections of their finished art work. Equally, children could be provided with loose part materials in order to place objects along the dotted lines or within the different sections. Fingers or a tool such as tweezers could be used, both aiding the development of fine motor control. These sheets could also be adapted to practise scissor skills. (Original artwork drawn by Sara Murphy and final digital resources created by Stuart Murphy.)
